He let his hand roam over the leather of the armchair, skin lost into those plans, eyes blind.
Evan's eyes where closed, like a cat's while purring. He hid any other expression in the fold of his arms, body stretching against Severus' perception. He wasn't sleeping, of this one could have been sure, for his breathing was not as quiet as it should have been. It was as if the boy has been soaking into warmth, and Severus prided himself with the knowledge that he was that presence.
"I wish I could live like this, forever- excitingly, rightfully and with you company, Severus- live forever, or die now."
Severus didn't remember what the time had suggested him to answer, back in that memorable day. He let the glass fall against the floor, over-conscious in the memories he had claimed back to the light of the boy's mind.
